It's FINALLY HERE! I've been working long and hard [pause] to get this to happen and well it's happening. Shibuya Donna Apparel is another way the world can get familiar with the Shibuya Donna brand. All of the Donna/Don [refer to Donna dictionary] personality has been put into each and every design while keeping thing versatile enough for all to enjoy.

Artist Of The Week - Tru Skyy

I'm not sure where to begin. I heard this guy's music and I immediately became a fan. It's true, listening to Tru Skyy introduces you to the perfect combination of R&B, Neo-Soul, Pop with a hint of Hip-Hop. His music is definitely doesn't just cater to one demographic, but can be appreciated and loved by all. It's youthful, but still soulful enough for the older crowd. The arrangements of his music make it an easy listen and his voice...well as my brother would say, "buttery." Lol.

Donna Of the Week - Samantha Shakes

Samantha Shakes is a self taught freelance makeup artist based in the Pennsylvania's Philadelphia Area. Samantha is primarily known for her skillful, creative and fun beauty tips and tutorial videos that can be found on her YouTube channel, CosmeticCandiesFYI where I discovered this awesome Donna. After honing her abilities, Samantha created SparkleLush Makeup Artistry making her skills available to the public. Samantha's passion, drive, reliability, talent and enthusiasm makes her the best fit for your beauty needs.

The first time I ever saw Samantha was via her YouTube Channel, CosmeticCandiesFYI. I was looking for some makeup tutorials by Donne of color whose complexions are close to mine and my cousin. I'm not as light as Samantha, but my cousin is and she was dying to learn how to apply make-up to herself [lol] so that was my 1st reason to take a look at one of her videos. She's so poised and full of personality and so that captured my attention as well. When she was done with her completed look I just knew I had to click the subscribe button and from then on I followed her twitter, liked her facebook page, and followed her blog.

Andre 3000 to Play Jimi Hendrix in Biopic

This is the kind of history I love to see being made. They couldn't have found a better person to plat Jimi. Well maybe, but I know 3 stacks will embody the role with full force and raise Hendrix back from the dead. I'm really thrilled by this and waiting in anticipation.

Shantell Martin Limited Edition Hand Drawn Sweaters

I thought these were pretty cool. As an artist/designer myself I couldn't help but to get excited for the simple, yet loud graphics, artist Shantell Martin have made come to life on these sweatshirts. Kind of inspiring, Makes me want to pull out my WACOM tablet and start sketching. Remember these are limited editions so if you want one you must act fast. Some are still available here.

You Ain't Got No Yeezi?

I can't wait until this drops. Yes this is the Yeezi necklace [spelled with an 'i' not 'y'] that was seen featured on Kanye West’s Spring 2012 runway show. It's to be in Collete soon and I'll def be here to tell you when. Hopefully Ye makes it affordable for his us little people lol. But I would love to rock this necklace.

Heart Attack Music Video x Trey Songz

When I initially reviewed this song in March I said that I liked it and it took me back to why I started to love Trey Songz, but I also said I wish a woman had sang it instead. But after watching the video and hearing it for a second time it really suites him. It's so ironic that in my initial review I said the song should have been Kelly Rowland's and then here she is playing his love mistress in the video. This is actually a really good video.
